Our office is equipped with modern advanced technology that enables us to treat you more efficiently, quickly, and effectively. We’ve done away with outdated x-rays and have gone full digital with our digital x-ray scanners that produce high-quality images of your teeth instantly onto our monitors with less waiting time and radiation exposure.
We also intraoral scanners that produce 3D models of your teeth instead of taking physical impressions for your orthodontic treatment. We offer free consultations to new patients who are considering investing in their smile with orthodontics as well as flexible payment plans.
At Great Bay Orthodontics, we’re proud to give back to our community by using our profits to contribute to The New Hampshire Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals nonprofit organization.

We offer teeth whitening in-office or in custom-fit take-home whitening trays to reduce tooth stains and lighten the shade of your tooth enamel. In-office whitening offers the most effective and drastic results in a single one-hour session in the dental chair, while take-home whitening is performed from the comfort of your own home and requires wearing the custom-made whitening trays each day for 2 weeks.
Has your child lost a baby tooth too soon? While it might seem like no big deal since baby teeth are due to fall out naturally anyway, if it happens too soon, it can cause issues with the permanent tooth’s eruption and the surrounding teeth. Baby teeth are natural space maintainers, meaning they hold a space in the mouth for the permanent tooth to erupt into.
When this tooth is lost too soon, a space maintainer needs to be placed to hold the space open and prevent the surrounding teeth from shifting and leaning into the space which can prevent the tooth from erupting or can cause it to erupt in the wrong space. A space maintainer is made of stainless steel and attaches to the adjacent natural abutment teeth.
From phase 1 orthodontics and metal braces to Invisalign, we offer a range of orthodontic treatments that can straighten the teeth, correct a misaligned bite, expand a child’s palate, or intervene with the alignment of the teeth early on to encourage proper growth.
Phase 1 or early interceptive orthodontics are treatments that intervene with the alignment of your child’s teeth, palate, or jaw while they are still growing to prevent or reduce the need for orthodontics in the future.
Treatments include space maintainers for prematurely lost teeth, palate expanders for narrow palates and improper bites, limited braces which correct a few misaligned teeth, and extractions when there is not enough room to straighten the teeth.
In adults with severely crooked teeth or an improper bite, metal braces are still the gold standard for correcting these issues because they apply significant force to the teeth to close significant gaps or rotate the position of the teeth or jaw.
Invisalign is a removable clear aligner system that is more discreet, hygienic, and comfortable. By adding attachments and elastics, Invisalign may be able to correct more severe malocclusions but is still best suited to minor alignment issues and patients who have aesthetic concerns about braces.
